Peggy Brown studied with the first Harpist of the San Francisco Symphony while attending The Hamlin School. Then went on to Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York. Peggy has been teaching music for numerous years.
Peggy Brown has played at all major hotels, restaurants. She played for two years at the Rotunda at Downtown Plaza, eight years at Country Club Plaza, private residences, including weddings in the Capitol Rotunda, Inaugural activities, the Governor's private residence, harpist at Rancho Murieta for five years for brunch, Brunch for two years at the Sterling Hotel. She has played for the Governors of the Border states at the Golden State Museum, had the privilege of playing for the Duchess of York at a private luncheon and for Lord Charles Spencer Churchill and Governor Schwarzenegger. Peggy Brown has been active in many cultural and arts endeavors throughout the community, and plays for corporate promotions, legislative and wedding events of all ethnicities.
